Friday, September 9, 2011
Guatemala will earn a record $1.1 billion in exports for the current 2010/2011 coffee harvest thanks to high world prices.
The $1.1 billion amounts to a 59 percent increase on the 2009/2010 season.
Despite the big surge in earnings, the volume of the previous harvests have been similar to those of the two previous ones.
