Guatemala to boost trade with Mexico
Guatemala is planning to build a dry port on its border with Mexico that aims to boost bilateral trade with its northern neighbor.
The port, valued at some $40 million, will be built within the customs area of Tecún Umán II, located at 252 kilometers west of Guatemala's capital city.
Guatemalan authorities are looking to include a train and truck terminal that would help ease trade in the region.
