Guatemala to import beef from its regional neighbors

As prices of beef rise, Guatemala aims to import it from Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama.

Guatemalan meat traders say that the market there is in short supply because of exports.

Cattle ranchers from Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama are prepared to supply been to Guatemala once import permits are expedited.
