Guatemala to ratify OECD tax convention: Macron

Guatemala is ready to ratify an OECD convention on tax transparency, which would see it removed from the organisation's blacklist, French President Emmanuel Macron said Thursday.

Macron made the announcement following a meeting with visiting Guatemalan counterpart Jimmy Morales, who was in Paris to press for deeper trade ties.
