Guatemalan call centers forecast to increase number of jobs by 5,000 next year

Guatemala’s call centers employ some 16,400 people, most of them with studies in higher education and monthly wages of about $600.
However, next year nearly 5,000 new jobs are likely to be created.
Further growth, however, will depend on the availability of more people with a talent for languages.
