Guatemalan coffee exports drop 1.9 percent

Coffee exports from Guatemala fell 1.9 percent in December from the same month the previous year, the national coffee association, Anacafe, said.

The country exported 137,589 60-kilogram bags last month.

Shipments through the first three months of the current 2013-2014 harvest totaled 292,921 bags, down 29 percent from the same period in the previous season, Anacafe said.
