Guatemalan exports grew by 17 percent in January

Exports of Guatemalan exports in January reached $870 million, an increase of 17 percent compared with the same month of last year.

But coffee exports fell sharply, with a 32 percent year-on-year drop.

Garments, now the nation's leading export, came to $103 million.
