Guatemalan remittances begin growth with 7.6 percent

Guatemala received $709 million in remittances during January and February, an increase of 7.6 percent on the same months of last year.
The central bank reported $358 million in January and $351 million in February.
Last year, Guatemala received a total of $4.78 billion in remittances, an increase of $404 million compared with 2011.
