Guatemalan software firms export to clients including UPS, Walmart and Novartis

Guatemalan software companies exported $74 million last year, a 15 percent increase on 2010.

Some 35 Guatemalan companies export software to banks and corporations, as well as applications to the Apple Store.

The exports go to all of the Americas and Europe. Leading customers include Walmart, Novartis, Citibank and UPS.
