Guatemalan Tacotento chain finds a place on the sun in South Beach

Since Monday a new restaurant on fashionable South Beach, Miami, was opened by Guatemala’s Tacontento chain.

Tacontento, a taco chain that includes other dishes, was founded in 2001. In Guatemala, it has 12 restaurants, most of them in the capital. Its first foreign operation was in 20´07, in Nicaragua.

The South B each restaurant involved an investment of some $500,000.
