Guatemalan women’s farming co-op

Sandra Ciquin from Guatemala is helping to empower other women to become more independent and join her in the agriculture industry.

She began an all-female farming cooperative and entered a marketplace dominated by men. Now by teaching women the trade, and the ins and outs of exporting to the US market, she is making a real difference.
