Häagen-Dazs returns to Colombian market

General Mills's premium ice-cream brand Häagen-Dazs will return to the Colombian market after years of absence.

The brand was motivated to return after seeing Colombia's growth and evolution.

The first step in its return is to form an alliance with Colombian company Grupo Éxito, which recently signed an agreement to operate 50 Super Inter supermarkets, the country's largest independent retailer.
