Health insurance policy sales doubled in Panama

The crisis in Panama’s public health services has led to an expansion in premium sales of private medical insurance.
In 2005, sales of medical policies came to $71.3 million. Last year the figure grew to $135 million.
This year the tend is continuing, with a 6 percent increase over 2009.
