High flying in Costa Rica and Panama

Tuesday, October 30, 2018

Some 625 aviation mechanics are needed in Costa Rica over the coming years. They are required to meet demand as a result of growth of the sector in the country and region, where in Panama, for example, the number of passengers has quadrupled over the last decade.

The "mechanics" that are needed in Costa Rica are highly trained professionals in aeronautical maintenance. They will be hired by Coopesa, the only cooperative in the world that provides maintenance and repairs for aircraft.

The increase in passenger traffic in Panama was reported by ALTA, the regional air transportation association. Panama is the sixth largest aviation market in Panama on Latin America.
