High noon for Industrias Infinito in Costa Rica

Canadian miner Industrias Infinito has to decide on whether to appeal a Costa Rican court’s rebuttal of its claim to the Crucitas mine, or seek arbitration.

An high court appeal on the verdict would be one alternative. The other would be seek $1.3 billion in compensation under arbitration.

If the appeal is to be lodged, Infinito faces a deadline of January 18.
