Holland’s Van Oord wins Moin oil terminal dredging contract in Costa Rica

Costa Rica’s state refiner Recope announced Dutch company Van Oord Dredging and Marine Contractors was awarded the contract to dredge the Moin oil terminal.

The project will allow larger tonnage ships to arrive and reduce shipment frequency and cost.

The contract is worth $14 million and works are due to begin by year-end and wrap up in the first quarter of 2011.
