Honduran business leaders eye accord with China

Honduran business leaders and former government officials said a free trade agreement with China will be beneficial for the country.

However, representatives from several sectors warned that an accord with China may harm relations with Taiwan.

But business leaders argue that China has surpassed the U.S. in terms of global trade, and the trade deficit between the Asian giant and Honduras dropped 38 percent last year.
