Honduran garment sector asked to follow trends

The Honduran garment industry generated $3.3 million in exports last year, the sector's authority said.

But Colombia's fashion exporting institute, Inexmoda, recommended Honduras to export garments with added value by following trends in fashion.

"There are great opportunities for Honduras's textile sector due to its strengths, but it's challenge is to include fashion trends into its products," Inexmoda President Carlos Eduardo Botero said.
