Honduran meat exports are taking off as new markets open up in Russia and Israel

Meat exports from Honduras grew four-fold last year as new markets were being opened up.

Meat exports came to $30 million, up from $7.8 million in 2010, according to the national farming authorities.

This year, Russia and Israel are expected to join the new foreign markets for Honduran meat that were opened up last year.
