Honduran travellers to pay higher tariffs

Monday, March 31, 2014

InterAirports, the company that manages Honduras's four international airports, hiked the tariffs on all airport services.

Starting this week, users will pay a $0.48 duty for international departures, and $1.92 for domestic departures.

The price hikes will affect tourism to the country, as visitors will want to choose cheaper destinations, according to sector representatives.
