Honduras agro-industry leads exports

Honduras's agro-industry exports reached $1.48 billion from January to August, making it the best-performing sector in terms of sales, according to the country's central bank.

The figure is higher by $138 million compared with the same period last year, but still lower than the $1.8 million in 2012.

The second-strongest sector in terms of exports was manufacturing, with sales worth $726 million in the same period.
