Honduras aims for $4.5 billion in five-year investment plan

Honduras will create 350,000 jobs and generate $4.5 billion under the five-year National Investment Promotion Program, said the deputy foreign minister, Alden Rivera.
 
The aim is to re-launch Honduras as one of the most attractive destinations for foreign investment in Latin America.
 
Foreign ministry officials have checked out 1,000 companies that are interested in investing in Honduras. The aim is to attract investment in energy, farming, forestry, tourism and manufacturing.
