Honduras and Brazil promise golden future for Canada-based Aura Minerals

Vancouver-based Aura Minerals has three active gold and base-metal mines in Brazil and Honduras, and others in Brazil and Mexico in development.

 

The company completed the acquisition of two gold mines in Brazil's Mato Grosso State that together are capable of producing about 140,000 ounces annually.

 

That, in addition to the gold production from the San Andres Gold Mine in La Union, Honduras, brings the company's potential annual gold production to 220,000 ounces.
