Honduras and Nicaragua first for public works fund

Honduras and Nicaragua will be the first countries to receive aid from an infrastructure fund for Mesoamerica and the Caribbean.

The fund was launched by Mexico during the Inter-American Development Bank's annual assembly.

The project will fund highways, sanitation, water and urban transport, said the Honduran finance minister, Héctor Guillén.
