Honduras asks Britain’s K Group to prepare study for inter-ocean railroad link

The president of Honduras, Porfirio Lobo, signed a memorandum of understanding with Britain’s K Group on a feasibility study for the construction of a coast-to-coast rail link in the country.
Lobo signed the memorandum with a representative of K Group, Salim Khaireddine.
The project consists of a high-speed rail service between Puerto Castilla in the Caribbean and Amapala on Isla del Tigre, on the Gulf of Fonseca.
