Honduras beats Dominican Republic in fruit sales

Honduras has overtaken the Dominican Republic in fruit and vegetable exports, said Edgar Santamaría, deputy director of the Honduran agricultural health authority.

Honduras sends some 30,000 containers of those products to the U.S. and other countries.

The top-selling products are melon, chillies, sweet potato and okra.
