Honduras coffee exports increased 4.6 percent in 2009-2010 harvest

Honduras closed its 2010/11 coffee harvest with 3,160,881 60-kg bags of exports, 4.6 percent up from the same cycle as the previous season.  

In September, Honduras exported 22,911 60-kg bags of coffee, 55.6 percent less than the same month last year.

Global supplies of high-quality arabica beans are helping to push prices recently.
