Honduras coffee exports surge in April

Honduran coffee exports jumped 15.2 percent in April compared to the same month last season due to an increase in output, the national coffee institute, or Ihcafé, said.

Shipments from the largest coffee exporter in Central America totaled 821,318 60-kg bags in April, compared to 713,122 bags in the same month last year, according to a preliminary report from the institute.
