Honduras expects shrimp exports of $200 million

The Honduran Ministry of Agriculture expects shrimp exports to exceed $200 million during the current season.

Last year, Honduran shrimp exports reached $166 million, approximately $26 million more than 2010.

The increase this year would be the result of the 16 percent increase in its average price.
