Honduras garment exports boosted by Chinese firms

Honduras is moving up in the world rankings of garment exporters, thanks to the help of Chinese companies.

Honduras has now moved up into sixth place of the ranking, ahead of India.

Part of the success, industry sources say, is that the garnets are made from low-cost materials sent to Honduras from Chinese companies.
