Honduras heads for $400 million in banana exports

The banana industry of Honduras is heading for $400 million in exports, its best year in a decade.

This year through September, the central bank reports that exports reached $297 million, and a further $100-110 million should be earned in the last quarter of the year.

If the $400 million forecast is correct, it will be the highest export figure for the industry in the last 10 years.
