Honduras hopes to export 1,050 tonnes of cocoa

Monday, March 25, 2013

Boosted by overseas and domestic aid, Honduran cocoa producers plan to export 1,050 tonnes this year.

Last year they exported 950 tonnes. The producers plan to increase productivity and volume by means of reactivating areas that have been switched to other crops.

Other plans include nurseries for the plants and a fermentation center.
