Honduras in $1.2 billion renewables revolution

In the five years between 2010 and 2015, Honduras has received investments of $1.6 billion in renewable energy.

As a result, 61 percent of its total power capacity is formed by renewables. That contrasts by 61 percent that was generated by thermal plants five years earlier.
