Honduran products exported to the European Union have an advantage in generating currency as a result of Europe’s financial crisis.
Net exports from Honduras and Europe continue to register a surplus, reaching $572 million, a growth of $278 million, according to an analysis by the nation’s central bank.
Exports to Europe grew by 74 per cent, with the emphasis on coffee, farmed shrimp and fruits.
