Honduras lags behind in tourism investment

The President of the Honduran Tourism Chamber, Epaminondas Marinakys, has asked the country's Government to increase investment to the sector.
Currently, the Government invests $2.5 million each year, the lowest amount in Central America.
Marinakys suggested a budget of $10 million to develop projects such as Bahí de Tela and build more hotels.
