Honduras leads Tilapia sales to the U.S.

Honduras became the top exporter of fresh Tilapia fillet to the United States last year.

Last year, exports of the fish reached $65 million, and a volume of 18.4 million pounds.

The only producer and exporter of Tilapia in Honduras is Swiss firm Aquafinca.
