Honduras looks to achieve $600 million record this year for coffee exports

The coffee industry of Honduras aims to close the 2009-2010 crop year with record returns.
In the 2007-2008 coffee year, Honduras reported the highest levels of exports in its history, with earnings of $464 million.
For this crop year, the Honduran Coffee Institute projects export earnings of some $500 to $600 million, now that the price per bag has gone up to $100.
