Honduras maquiladoras aims for $4.3 billion

The maquiladora assembly plants of Honduras are expecting to achieve $4.3 billion in exports this year, according to industry leaders.

But much will depend on the growth of consumer demand in the United States as well as the Honduran government’s plans to boost the industry.
