Honduras plans $1 billion investment in energy

Honduras is aiming to invest $1 billion in energy over the next two years, according to Cohep, the leading organization of the private sector.
Some $700 million in hydroelectric project are being reviewed for feasibility studies, while others are at the permitting stage.
Meanwhile the state power utility ENEE is to have a 240 MW tender in this year's first quarter.
