Honduras plans mass plantation of beans
Friday, August 8, 2014
Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández and the country's agricultural sector have agreed to establish a mass-plantation project that will guarantee sufficient supply of beans, the government said.
"We have designed a win-win plan for the government and agriculture workers that will supply food for Hondurans over the next four years," the President said.
He added that the government is working to develop the country's agriculture sector, and that it should be supported by private banks in providing resources for harvests.
