Honduras promotes west of country for tourism

Honduras is seeking to promote more tourism in the western part of the country.

Tourism authorities met with Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association executives to discuss the possibilities of opening flights from Roatán island to western Honduras.

"There is an opportunity for tourism to grow in the west in the Lenca route", Emilio Silvestri, director of the Honduran tourism authority said.
