Honduras records farm sales of $500 million to Asia

Farm exports from Honduras to Asia are expected to earn some $500 million this year.

"Exports have increased by 15 to 20 percent so far, just as expected," said Medardo Galindo, general manager of the Honduran farm exporters' association.

One of the main reasons for the improvement has been better quality control, he added.
