Honduras revives investment program to attract 500 potential foreign companies

The foreign ministry of Honduras is reviving its “Honduras is Open for Business” forum on May 5 and 6 in San Pedro Sula.

The aim is to attract 500 foreign investors. Some 1,000 companies are believed to be interested in six sectors, principally tourism.

Honduras wants to create 350,000 jobs over the next five years through $4.5 billion of investment.
