Wednesday, February 12, 2014

Honduras's domestic airline seat capacity has accelerated in recent years, with Roatán recording a 53 percent increase in 2013, compared to 2004.

Tegucigalpa’s annual capacity grew by 3.8 percent, while both San Pedro Sula and La Ceiba decreased, with the latter experiencing a steep decline of 77 percent.

Avianca is the country's largest carrier, controlling up to 28 percent of weekly seats and flights after it integrated TACA Airlines' operations in May 2013.
