Honduras seeks credit for highway projects
Wednesday, January 14, 2015
The Honduran government will continue talks to secure a $150 million credit line with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The funds will be used to finance highway projects across the country.
A delegation from the bank is set to visit Honduras to continue the negotiations which began several months ago, and were sped-up after the country reached a deal with the International Monetary Fund, said Wilfredo Cerrato, head of the Honduran Finance Ministry.
