Honduras seeks logistics competitiveness

Honduras is seeking to become a regional logistics power with its Dry Canal project.
The 391-kilometer highway, which will connect the Pacific and Atlantic coasts, will cost some $270 million and is scheduled to open in 2018.
Experts say that not only will the new highway will benefit shipping companies, businesses and transport firms, it will also help boost tourism between Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua.
