Honduras seeks new markets for coffee exports

Honduras's coffee sector is looking to export to new markets for the 2014-2015 harvest, as well as increasing its export volume to China, according to Miguel Pon, director of the Honduran coffee exporters association.
For the 2014-2015 harvest, Pon said the sector will produce some 6.8 million quintals.
That amount will likely generate sales worth $1.2 billion if the current price of between $190 and $200 per quintal is maintained.
