Honduras seeks to boost cruise tourism

The Honduran government is working with the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association, FCCA, to boost cruise tourism in the country.

President Juan Orlando Hernández will accompany FCCA representatives during tours of the city of Gracias, Lempira, and the Copan Archaeological Park, as part of a "reconnaissance" trip to sites where the cruise tourists from Roatan, Bay Islands may visit.

Representatives from Carnival Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean Cruise will be present at the tour.
