Honduras sees historic inflation rate by year end

Honduras's inflation could end this year at historic high levels, according to business leaders and academics.

This year, the country's inflation is expected to reach 7.5 percent, said Hugo Noé Pino, former central bank president.

Form January to May this year, the country's consumer price index grew to 3.9 percent, from 2.6 percent in the same period last year.
