Honduras taxman hounds companies

More than 170 companies in Honduras have been closed temporarily by the tax authorities, many of them because of such bureaucratic details as the failure to include the big “L” for the national currency, the lempira, in their invoices.

A spokeswoman for the private sector said raids have been carried out by heavily armed masked men.
